Sinziana Cadar (b. 1995 in Ploiești, Romania) is a visual artist and art director living and working in Bucharest. She received a BA in Architecture from Arts University Bournemouth and an MA in Interior and Spatial Design from UAL Chelsea College of Arts, London.
Sinziana Cadar’s practice unfolds at the intersection of image, space, and ritual. Working across digital and physical mediums, she constructs dense symbolic compositions and immersive environments that explore perception, memory, and the fragile boundary between the real and the imagined. Her work often navigates the tension between stillness and acceleration, questioning how contemporary life reshapes our relationship with time, attention, and presence.
Drawing from a personal visual language of recurring symbols, her compositions function as intuitive maps, spaces where meaning is not fixed but continuously negotiated. Influenced by spiritual inquiry and the poetics of everyday life, she approaches each work as both an act of introspection and an open invitation for reflection. Whether through illustration, video, or spatial intervention, her practice seeks to create moments of quiet rupture, portals in which viewers may encounter themselves differently.
Alongside her visual work, she develops interdisciplinary projects that blur the line between art, environment, and collective experience, often proposing new forms of gathering rooted in contemplation, exchange, and subtle transformation.
